Tilden Regional Park

Tilden Regional Park, located in the Berkeley Hills above Berkeley, California, and part of the East Bay Regional Parks system, spans 2,077 acres. It is home to Vollmer Peak, Mount Diablo, and the Berkeley Hills Tunnel as well as several small lakes and ponds. Hiking and horseback riding trails wind throughout the park connecting it to the Tilden Nature Area.
Charles Lee Tilden, one of the founders of the East Bay Regional Park System, was the park’s namesake. The University of California donated 1,500 acres (607 ha) of land to establish the original park in 1936. Since then, the estate has been expanded numerous times and now covers 2,077 acres (841 ha).
Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park

The park has a wide range of terrain, including meadows, dense redwood forests, and steep slopes. There are several streams that course through the park, providing shelter for a variety of species.
The park is called after John C. Reinhardt because he was crucial in its development. He had previous experience as a Marin County supervisor and president of the board of directors for the East Bay Regional Park District, so his skill set was perfect for this project.
Chabot Space & Science Center

The Chabot Space & Science Center is a museum in Oakland, California, United States. CSSC has three locations: the main museum in Oakland, the NASA Ames Exploration Center in Mountain View, and Lick Observatory on Mount Hamilton.
The CSSC was named after Anthony Chabot, an early California businessman, and philanthropist. EBRPD, a public agency created in 1934 to develop and operate regional parks within Alameda County, owns and operates the center. Skyline Boulevard in Oakland is home to the main museum campus, which features exhibits you can touch, planetarium shows, and large-format films. The Chabot Space & Science Center works with the Smithsonian Institution, and it manages the Lick Observatory for the University of California.
University of California Botanical Garden
